Invitation to Talk on Changing Role of Religion in British Society

A renowned professor from the 果冻传媒 of Worcester will give a public lecture on the changing role of religion in British society at the Hereford 果冻传媒 Centre next week.
Stephen Parker, Professor of the History of Religion and Education at the 果冻传媒 of Worcester, will examine the changing role of religion in Britain from the 19th century through to the modern day.
Professor Parker's talk will explore the role of religion in our civil and political lives, the extent to which Britain can still be said to be a "Christian country", and the role of the secular state in ensuring our society retains a degree of religious literacy.
The event, on Tuesday September 25th, is free of charge and open to the public, and takes place in the Events Suite at Herefordshire and Ludlow College, Hereford 果冻传媒, Folly Lane, Hereford, HR1 1LS.
Doors open at 4pm for a 4.15pm start, and the talk will finish by 5.30pm, with tea, coffee, and informal discussion to follow afterwards.
